EMBROIDERY BY SEMI FEMI DUO

SEMI FEMI DUO is a feministic artistic duo consisting of Agnes Saaby Thomsen and Juliane Birklund Wezelenburg. The work focuses on the traces we leave as creatures with a vagina. With  inspiration in real photo registrations, traces of period blood and vaginal discharge is made in embroidery and embellishment of beads. The pieces are named after the day of their inspiration photo to emphasise the everyday nature of finding traces in our underwear as creatures with a vagina.
